Barry Manilow’s ‘Last’ Columbus concert moved again, now set for August 2 at Nationwide Arena

Columbus date shifted from January to March, and now to early August
Barry Manilow’s scheduled farewell stop in Columbus has been rescheduled again, moving the performance to Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026, at Nationwide Arena. The show is listed for a 7 p.m. start time.
The Columbus performance has changed dates multiple times. It was first set for Jan. 18, 2026, later moved to March 6, and has now been shifted to Aug. 2. Nationwide Arena has stated that tickets already purchased for earlier dates will be honored on the new August date.
Health-related recovery continues to affect touring plans
The latest rescheduling comes as Manilow continues recovering after surgery related to a cancerous spot found on his left lung in late 2025. Manilow has said the spot was detected after medical imaging was ordered following an extended period of bronchitis, and he has previously indicated the cancer was found early and that surgery was planned to remove it.
In February 2026, additional arena dates elsewhere on the tour were postponed again as Manilow described limitations tied to his recovery and performance stamina. His public statements have described a medical recommendation to avoid full-length concerts while his lungs continue to heal.
What the August date means for ticketholders
Nationwide Arena’s event notice indicates that previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled Aug. 2 performance. The arena continues to list the show as on sale.
New Columbus date: Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026
Venue: Nationwide Arena
Start time: 7 p.m.
Ticket policy: previously purchased tickets will be honored
Context: a farewell-branded run that has faced repeated calendar changes
The Columbus event is billed as part of Manilow’s farewell-themed arena run, marketed under “The Last” branding in multiple cities. The repeated adjustments underscore how major tours can be reshaped by medical recovery timelines, venue availability, and the logistical constraints of routing arena dates months in advance.
For Columbus, the practical outcome is straightforward: the same ticket remains valid, but the timing shifts from winter to summer, with the concert now set for Aug. 2.
Nationwide Arena has not announced additional local programming tied to the rescheduling beyond the date change and ticket-honoring policy.
