Public Notice: Board of Health General Meeting

The Columbus Board of Health will convene for a regularly scheduled meeting today, Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Columbus Board of Education Regular Session

Holiday Refuse Collection Schedule Adjustment

Residents are reminded that citywide refuse, recycling, and yard waste collection services are currently operating on a holiday delay following the observance of Presidents' Day on Monday, February 16. Under the city's holiday service protocol, collection for the remainder of the week will shift forward by one day.

  • Residents normally scheduled for Monday collection will have their items picked up today, Tuesday, February 17.
  • Residents normally scheduled for Tuesday collection should place their bins at the curb for pickup on Wednesday, February 18.
  • This one-day 'slide' will continue through the end of the week, with Friday collections occurring on Saturday.

City Council Meeting Schedule Update

While the Columbus City Council typically meets on Monday evenings, there is no legislative session or zoning meeting scheduled for today, February 17. Following the holiday closure, the next regular City Council meeting is slated for Monday, February 23. Residents wishing to review previous ordinances or the upcoming agenda may access the City Bulletin online or visit the City Clerk's office at 90 West Broad Street during regular business hours.

Public Health Advisory: Seasonal Wellness
